Retreev operates retreev.app, a photo-finding platform that helps you locate yourself in event photo collections.

Your face is sensitive data, and we only process it after you give your explicit consent through the consent dialog shown before every scan.
3. How It Works
- You upload a selfie and provide a link to an event's photo gallery.
- We verify that your selfie shows a real, present person, not a photo of a photo or a screen.
- Your selfie is used to find photos of you within the gallery.
- Matching photos are returned to you as a private, time-limited gallery.
This process is fully automated. You have the right to request human review, express your view, or contest a result — contact us at privacy@retreev.app if you believe a result is incorrect.

5. Who We Share Data With
We work with trusted service providers to operate Retreev. Each is bound by a written agreement to protect your data, and none may use it for their own purposes. We never sell your information. Where data is transferred for operations, we ensure protections are in place.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data and receive a copy
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure when your data is no longer necessary
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Object to how your data is processed
- Contest a decision made solely by automated processing
- Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format

7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, time-limited access links for your gallery, and approaches to prevent abuse.
